Powell-Peralta re-issue decks are faithful replicas of the original 1980's versions, complete with the same top and bottom graphics, shape, and concave. These decks are manufactured in Mexico through our partnership, using high-quality materials such as U.S. hard rock maple and adhesive that meets our strict standards. We stand behind the durability of our decks, offering a warranty against delamination for their entire lifespan.

The distinctive shape and graphics are crafted in Santa Barbara, CA. A young Mike Vallely was discovered at a Virginia Beach competition by Neil Blender and Lance, who invited him to join the Powell-Peralta team. Vallely quickly became a renowned street skater, gaining fame with his unique style. Initially hesitant about the Roach graphic, Vallely collaborated with VCJ to create an elephant-themed design that became immensely popular. Today, Mike Vallely owns and operates Street Plant, a family-run business committed to independent skateboarding.
