About the Cab Street Artwork: In the year 1987, street skating was on the rise in popularity. Steve Caballero was not only a pro in vert skating but also dominated the "Street-Style" scene. Powell-Peralta saw the opportunity to release a Cab deck model specifically for street skating. Renowned artist V.C. Johnson crafted a new dragon graphic with a bats & bones background. Cab's name was incorporated into the design in the shape of a bat, as he was a fan of Batman at the time. The Powell-Peralta logo was created using the Animal Chin font, reflecting the trends of that era. Originally introduced in 1987, the artwork was created by Vernon Courtlandt Johnson. Application Instructions: For best results, apply the patch to denim or cotton fabric. Avoid using polyester material. Place the item on a firm surface, such as an ironing board, and iron it to create a smooth surface. Position the patch in the desired location. Heat the iron to its highest setting and cover the patch with a thin cloth to protect it and surrounding fabric. Press down firmly on the patch with the hot iron for 15-30 seconds. Remove the iron and allow the patch to cool. Test the patch by gently rubbing the edge to check if it lifts. If it does, repeat the ironing process with the thin cloth for 10-15 seconds.
