Powell Peralta Skateboard Deck - O.G. Rodriguez Skull & Sword Snub Brite Lite '05'

The Rodriguez "Skull & Sword" deck, the first pro signature deck graphic manufactured by Powell-Peralta, was created by Ray and illustrated by V.C. Johnson with art direction from George Powell in 1979. It was initially released in two distinct shapes: a 10" x 30" "Widetail" version and a 10" x 28.5" "Snub Nose," available in "Brite-Lite" Dayglo yellow, orange, purple, and green. Over the years, it was produced in various colors and featured a Powell-Peralta logo. By 1983, Ray's signature was replaced with a Powell-Peralta script logo. The graphic was also used for T-shirts and stickers.

Originally released in 1979, the artwork was created by Vernon Courtlandt Johnson. The deck width is 10" with a length of 28.25", wheelbase of 16.625", nose measuring 1.25", and tail at 5.38". It features a truck hole pattern of Long 4 - 2.5" Old School Truck Hole Pattern, Shape 271, and Concave FK1. This deck is sold separately without griptape.
