In 1987, the popularity of street skating was rapidly growing. As a top contender in the "Street-Style" circuit, Steve Caballero excelled not only at vert skating but also in street skating. Seeing his talent and potential, Powell-Peralta decided to introduce a new Cab deck model specifically designed for street skating.
The new deck featured a dragon graphic created by artist V.C. Johnson, with a background of bats and bones. To personalize the design even further, Cab's name was incorporated into the bat shape, reflecting his love for Batman at the time. The Powell-Peralta logo was crafted using the Animal Chin font, a symbol of the era.
Originally released in 1987, this deck had dimensions of 9.625" in width and 29.75" in length. The wheelbase measured 15.125", with a deck nose of 3.5" and a deck tail of 6.88". The truck hole pattern followed the Long 4 - 2.5" Old School Truck Hole Pattern.
With a Shape 157 and Concave SP3, this deck was deck only, with griptape not included. The artwork was by Vernon Courtlandt Johnson.
