Steve Caballero Dragon Flight Skateboard Decks

In 1988, Powell-Peralta placed an "Artist Wanted" ad in TWS and Thrasher seeking a talented individual to join their art department in Santa Barbara. Sean Cliver was ultimately chosen as the winner of the contest due to his illustration style bearing a striking resemblance to that of VCJ. His first deck design, the Barbee Ragdoll, marked a departure from the traditional VCJ aesthetic. However, when tasked with revamping the Caballero dragon graphic, Sean paid homage to the master artist.

The visually stunning graphic, later affectionately referred to as the "Ban This" Dragon, gained recognition for its prominent feature in a video, specifically during a captivating slow-motion sequence. Originally released in 1988, this iconic artwork was brought to life by Sean Cliver.

Deck details include a width of 9.265 inches, a length of 32 inches, a wheelbase of 14.75 inches, deck nose and tail both measuring at 6.5 inches, and shaped 192 with Concave K21. This deck is sold separately, griptape not included.
